What we collect
When you submit our enquiry form we collect the details you provide: your name, firm or organisation, email address, phone number and the description of your matter. If you consent to analytics, we also collect limited, aggregated usage data (see our Cookie Policy).
How we use it
We use your enquiry details only to respond to you and to identify suitable expert witnesses for your matter. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. Analytics, where consented, helps us understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
Legal basis
We process enquiry details on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry and taking steps at your request before any engagement. Analytics is processed only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Sharing and processors
Enquiry submissions are delivered to us by email through Web3Forms, which processes the submission on our behalf. Analytics, where consented, is provided by Google Analytics. We share the substance of your enquiry with an expert only where it is relevant to your matter and necessary to respond. We do not otherwise disclose your data, except where required by law.
Retention
We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as necessary to deal with your matter and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any right, email enquiries@expertwitnessservices.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
